Fonterra wanted more than a branded fitness app. They needed a platform that unified health data, rewards and CRM-driven campaigns into one experience — and it had to work seamlessly across both iOS and Android, each with their own health data ecosystems.
The technical complexity ran deep. Apple HealthKit and Google Fit handle activity tracking differently — different data models, different permission flows, different sync behaviours. Building a consistent experience across both meant creating a unified data layer that normalised activity, steps and goals without confusing users or losing data accuracy.
Beyond health data, Fonterra needed deep CRM integration with Salesforce and ExactTarget to deliver targeted campaigns, automated journeys and optimised recurring messaging costs. Multi-language support was required with strict font and brand governance across every touchpoint.

Our Solution
We built the Anlenemove platform as an integrated ecosystem connecting health tracking, rewards and customer engagement.
First, we harmonised HealthKit and Google Fit without breaking the user experience. We created a unified data model that normalises activity, steps and goals across both ecosystems, so users on either platform get the same experience with accurate data.
Second, we built deep CRM integration with Salesforce and ExactTarget. This powers targeted campaigns, automated customer journeys and optimised recurring messaging costs — all driven by actual user behaviour and health tracking data.
Third, we implemented multi-language support with strict font and brand governance, ensuring every screen and notification follows Fonterra's brand standards across all markets.
